G2009 Warman – Finalists

Congratulations to the G’09 OC Surf Blue and White teams for both making the finals at the Surf Invitational. Going into the final, each team had scored 11 goals and and looking to score more.. The players know each other well, having practiced together often as well as meeting in the finals of a tournament a few weeks earlier.  The championship proved to be an exciting game.  Both teams gave everything they had and dealt with the heat and wiith their fourth game of the weekend. Both teams played well and provided excellent entertainment for the parents on the sidelines.  At the final whistle, the blue team came out victorious in a tight 1-0 win.. Congratulations to the white team as finalists and the blue team on their championship.  Well done, girls!
