ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
At Panther Soccer Camp, the focus is on developing the total soccer player as a whole by working on the smaller, but necessary, parts and pieces. We will embrace the philosophy that overall development comes from continual repetition of skills and concepts – no matter the level of soccer player. Our camp stresses the development of individual ball skills and encourages the creativity that those skills provide.
We also believe it is very important to enjoy the game of soccer and we like to demonstrate that enjoyment in the way we play. We are committed to instilling good habits that will make our campers lifelong soccer players.
Panther Soccer Camp is under the direction of Eddie Carrillo, currently the Men’s Soccer Coach at Chapman University, Teacher with Orange Unified School District, and Club Director and Founder of OC Surf North. Eddie staffs his camps with current collegiate coaches and players and has been proudly providing camps for kids in the community since 1997.
PROGRAMS OFFERED
PANTHER CAMP is open to all levels of Soccer Players; Recreation, Signature as well as Club. This camp is half day (9am-12pm) and open to boys and girls ages 5 to 13 years old. There are 3 sessions offered. Your player may attend any one of sessions they choose, or both.
Our SURF CAMP is our club camp, and is open to Surf Club Players only (player must already be registered with OC Surf North). This camp is available for boys and girls ages 8 to 13 years old. This high intensity Academy is for the serious soccer player that is looking to raise their individual skill and understanding of the game. The Academy will focus on the implementation of technical skills in game like situations. Participants will receive technical and tactical training from professional college coaches.

CAMP STAFF
The Panther Soccer Camp is staffed by professional and collegiate coaches & players, and is under the direction of the Director of Soccer and Men’s Head Coach at Chapman University, Eddie Carrillo.
Eddie has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Chapman University, a Master’s in Education from Claremont McKenna College, and currently teaches math at Villa Park High School.
In his soccer career, Eddie played one year at Cal State Fullerton before transferring to Rancho Santiago College where he earned All-Conference honors on a team that was ranked #1 in the country. Eddie finished his soccer career at Chapman University helping the team receive an at large bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament in his senior year.
