Vasquez G04 Black Wins League Playoffs
Taking first place in the Champions Division secured the Vasquez team a first seed position going into league playoffs. In the quarter-final battle there were two opponents – one strong team and some even stronger winds! Staying calm and learning to adapt to their circumstances earned Surf a 2-0 victory. In the semi-finals, a 0-0 score required a PK shootout which ended in a 4-2 victory. Finally, the 1-0 championship game against Orange Slammers was determined by a beautifully placed free kick in the first half. Congratulations to the Vasquez team for a very successful season!
