Team Fundraising Guidelines

Teams can use fundraising to offset costs associated with traveling and additional team tournaments. It is important to keep in mind that when you are raising money for your team that you are a representative of Rangers FC South and to uphold the integrity of the club at all times. Rangers FC South Soccer teams are permitted to conduct Team Fundraisers under the guidelines listed:

  • All Team Fundraising Ideas are submitted for approval First
  • 1 person on your team is a point of contact for fundraising
  • Records of all incoming and outgoing transactions should be kept by person appointed
  • Transaction records should be submitted to The Treasurer 2 weeks after a fundraiser is held.

PSA Soccer Club (Rangers FC South) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

If your company has a giving program, you may be eligible to turn in Service Hours, Matching Donation Program. Check with your company’s Human Resources Manager to see if you are eligible.  Matching programs are subject to a 20% donation to the Rangers Scholarship Fund.

Monies raised CAN be used for:

  • Team Parties
  • Player meals
  • Team Equipment
  • Players on Financial Assistance
  • Tournament Fees
  • Player cost when traveling out of town (College Showcases etc)

Monies raised CANNOT be used for:

  • Parent Meals
  • Parent Hotel Fees
  • Personal Use
